The villa offers you complete privacy and a home away from home on this small lush Caribbean island replete with rainforests, waterfalls and amazingly pristine beaches. You will truly find your escape at this luxury villa surrounded by over an acre of abundant gardens, a tropical swimming pool with accompanying cabana, lily pond and spacious decks. Located 300 feet above the Caribbean Sea facing the renowned Pitons, there is no shortage of breathtaking views, spectacular sunsets and cool island breezes. The villa is constructed of native stone along with teak, mahogany and green heart woods. Built in traditional Caribbean construction, the house has louvered plantation style doors that open to take full advantage of its natural and tropical landscape. The villa provides a wealth of space for gathering and relaxing such as the elegant terra cotta living and dining rooms which face the sea and provide breathtaking views of the Pitons. The living room opens up to a 40 foot open teak deck that highlights the beauty of the Caribbean Sea and Pitons where guests can enjoy the breeze while watching the many yachts and local fishing boats as they pass by. The dining room offers a table that seats a party of six and is a great spot for enjoying amazing local and Caribbean dinners. La Batterie features three elegant bedroom suites, each with an ensuite bath and private deck each offering a different and unique view of the gardens. Additionally you will find a fully appointed kitchen and breakfast/lunch bar area overlooking the front gardens. Located in the rear gardens, surrounded by a variety of palms, mango trees and an assortment of tropical plants the pool offers the perfect atmosphere for sunbathing or an invigorating or relaxing swim.
