The gardens surrounding the villa at La Batterie have been meticulously landscaped for over 30 years.  The private gardens surrounded by a stone wall provide an acre of secluded paradise with breathtaking views, surrounded by the natural beautiy of St. Lucia. The garden has a variety of tropical flaura and fauna which include stiriking hibiscus, fragrant jasmine and a variety of palms throughout the property.  In the lower gardens there is a tranquil reflecting pond filled with water lillies and local goldfish.  A plethora of fruit trees bearing fresh grapefruit, mangos, bananas and soursoup depending on the season.  The abundance of flowers allows and plants provide the perfect environment for numerous species of songbirds and butterflies.
